The Lion's Share Federal Credit Union is about the business of providing affordable and valuable financial products and services to the employees of Food Lion, LLC, Sweetbay, Harvey's, Reid's, bloom and Bottom Dollar Stores, and their families. Our mission is to provide our members with quality financial services at competitive rates and in a courteous and efficient manner, while maintaining a sound financial structure. As a member of our Credit Union, you also have a responsibility to safeguard your financial information. Please do not share any information to anyone that you are not sure of his or her identity or his or her intended purpose of gaining your information.

ü Lion's Share FCU will collect only the personal information that is necessary to conduct our business . That means only what is needed to provide the quality products and services that you expect from your Credit Union and nothing else.

ü Lion's Share FCU will protect your personal information . We will continue to implement and maintain strong security controls to ensure that member information in our files and computers is protected. Where appropriate, we will use security coding techniques to protect against unauthorized access to personal records, ensure accuracy and integrity of communication and transactions, and protect member confidentiality.

ü Lion's Share FCU will share information only when absolutely necessary . We will only share information to administer the products and services we provide, when required to do so by law, or when we partner with other businesses to offer a broader array of products and services. We treat non-member information in the same manner as that of members.

ü Lion's Share FCU will partner only with businesses that follow strict confidentiality requirements . We will not sell member information to telemarketing firms. The businesses that we do select will offer products that are designed to enhance our members’ economic well-being. Under no circumstances will we authorize these firms to charge your account without your express consent.

ü Lion's Share FCU will offer you a choice in how your information is used . Any member may elect to keep information from being shared with our business partners. We will inform you of how to exercise that choice, and we will take all reasonable steps to follow your request.

Our Credit Union respects your privacy. Through our web site, we strive to provide valuable information to you about how we may serve you, and whether you are a valued existing member or someone looking at the benefits of our membership, we hope our site answers questions about our products and services.
