It’s time once again for the Lion’s Share Federal Credit Union Annual Meeting — and we’d love for you to join us.

This year’s meeting is a great opportunity to connect and spend an evening with fellow members, Board members, and staff. Be there to hear updates on your Credit Union, and enjoy an awesome meal.

Notice of Annual Meeting of Members and Director Nomination Process

Annual Meeting of Members

Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of Members of Lion’s Share Federal Credit Union, afederally chartered credit union, will be held as follows:

Date: April 21, 2026, Time: 6:00 PM

Location: Rowan Community Center, 1959 Jake Alexander Blvd. W, Salisbury, NC.

The purpose of the Annual Meeting includes receiving reports on the condition and affairs of theCredit Union and the election of directors, along with any other business properly brought beforethe membership in accordance with the Credit Union’s bylaws.

Election of Directors

At the Annual Meeting, one director position will be filled for a 3-year term, as provided in the Credit Union’s bylaws.

Nomination of Candidates

In accordance with the Federal Credit Union Bylaws:

  1. Nominating Committee: The Chair of the Board has appointed a Nominating Committee that hasnominated at least one qualified candidate for the open director position.

  2. Nomination by Petition: Additional nominations may be made only by petition signed by at least onepercent (1%) of the Credit Union’s members, with a minimum of twenty (20) and a maximum of fivehundred (500) signatures.

    • All nomination petitions must be received by the Credit Union no later than March 16, 2026.

  3. No Nominations from the Floor: Nominations from floor will not be permitted at the Annual Meeting, regardless of whether the position is contested.

Election by Acclamation

If the number of qualified nominees equals the number of open director positions, the election may beconducted by acclamation at the Annual Meeting, in accordance with the Credit Union's bylaws.
