Who Can Join
We’d welcome everyone if we could, but as a credit union, only a few can qualify for membership.
Membership with Lion’s Share is open to all Ahold Delhaize USA, Food Lion, GIANT Food Stores, PeaPod Digital Labs, and RBS & Hannaford employees, retirees, and their immediate family members.
Join Through Community Support
If you don’t already qualify through one of our partner employers, you can still become a member of Lion’s Share Federal Credit Union by supporting the community.
Through a $15 donation to the Carolinas Credit Union League Foundation, you can become eligible for membership while helping fund programs that strengthen communities across the Carolinas.
It’s a simple way to begin your financial journey with Lion’s Share while supporting meaningful local initiatives.
What You Need to Know
To complete your membership application, you are required to open a Membership Savings Account & deposit $25 into it. This account is what makes you an owner of Lion’s Share FCU.
You’ll need to have your valid government issued ID ready. If the address on your ID is no longer correct, you’ll need a recent utility bill or paystub to verify your current address.
We can open your membership account using payroll deduction if you are employed with any of the companies listed above other than Stop & Shop.
You’ll be able to transfer funds into your membership account if you’re retired or a family member.
You can add a joint-owner to your account, their information, valid Government issued ID and signature will be required.
To receive your debit card, you must check the box stating that you want a debit card to automatically receive one. It will arrive at your home address 7–10 days after your opening deposit.
