Important Update: Enhanced Security with Multi-Factor Authentication
We are excited to announce that starting 03.15.25, the Lion’s Share mobile app and online banking services will feature Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to provide an extra layer of security for your accounts.
MFA is a security system that requires more than one method of authentication from independent categories of credentials to verify the user’s identity. This means you will need to provide two or more verification methods to access your account, such as a password and a code sent to your phone.
MFA significantly enhances the security of your accounts by adding an additional layer of protection against unauthorized access. This helps ensure that your personal and financial information remains safe and secure.
To ensure a smooth transition, please make sure we have your correct phone number on file. This will be essential for receiving the verification codes needed for MFA.
- Log in to your Lion’s Share FCU online account at www.LionShareCU.org.
- Navigate to the “Settings” section at the top of the home page.
- Then click on “Profile” and choose “Phone Number”.
- Update your mobile phone number and save your changes.
- Repeat step 3 by choosing “Email Address”.
- Repeat step 4 by editing your email address if needed and save your changes.
Important to Note:
If we do not have your updated, valid email, home phone, and cell phone number on file, you will no longer be able to access your account information online.
If this is the case, text us at 704-636-0643 to update your information.
